Comprehensive developmental assessment of preschool children
Every child develops at their own pace, but if your child still struggles to say simple words after the age of two, is frequently emotionally unstable, or has difficulty adapting to group interactions, these may be early signs of developmental delays. Early identification and intervention are key to helping children overcome developmental challenges and promote their potential.
This assessment is specifically designed for children aged 3 years and 4 months to 6 years and 3 months who have not yet entered primary school, and comprehensively covers the following seven developmental areas:
- Cognitive ability
- Language Development
- Social cognition
- Visual perception
- Small muscle techniques
- Big Muscle Techniques
- Early recognition of reading and number concepts
Through systematic assessment, we can accurately understand a child's development in various areas and provide individualized suggestions and intervention directions to help the child grow steadily and lay a solid foundation for future learning and life.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Assessment
Early signs of autism spectrum disorder may include stubbornness, narrow interests, and difficulty with social interaction. These traits typically begin to appear in early childhood (before age three) and continue into adulthood, posing varying degrees of challenges to an individual's social communication, language development, and behavioral patterns.
Early identification and intervention are crucial for children's development. Our center provides professional autism spectrum assessment services. Assessments can be conducted for children aged 1 year and older. We understand the child's overall situation through interviews and use professional assessment tools for diagnosis, and refer the child to assistive care providers as early as possible to improve their overall performance.
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) Assessment
Misbehaving, daydreaming in class, and making mistakes are all signs of being labeled a "problem child." However, children may not be intentionally opposing their parents and teachers; they may be suffering from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
It is particularly noteworthy that ADHD symptoms in girls are usually more subtle and milder than in boys. For example, they are less likely to exhibit impulsive behaviors and are more likely to show poor concentration or internalized emotional distress. Therefore, they are often easily overlooked, leading to a later diagnosis.
Our center offers professional ADHD assessment services suitable for children aged 5 and up. The assessment process includes:
- Clinical Diagnostic Discussion
- Behavioral observation and assessment
- Internationally recognized assessment tools
Through a comprehensive assessment, we can accurately diagnose whether a child has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and provide appropriate follow-up advice to help the child reach their full potential.
Dyslexia Assessment
Dyslexia is a common special learning difficulty in children who are intellectually normal but have difficulty recognizing words, reading, writing, and reading comprehension. Early assessment is crucial for children to receive support. Assessments are suitable for school children and adolescents aged 6 to 15 years and 6 months, using assessment tools to identify various cognitive abilities related to reading and writing.
Intelligence Assessment
The assessment is suitable for children aged 4 and above. Through internationally recognized assessment tools, it effectively assesses and analyzes children's language comprehension, memory, processing ability and problem-solving ability, identifies the strengths and weaknesses of each ability, and provides appropriate support to help children realize their potential.
